I knew that I’d have to savor this and read it at the right moment, but now that I have, I urge you to read Bruce Sterling’s superlative White Fungus. I keep getting questions about architecture after collapse. This may be it.

Yes but 1 of many in a collection and i wasn't sure from the abrupt ending if his story "White Fungus" was finished or if the PDF link was just a teaser bit..

Hi, I'm the editor of BEYOND and I thought maybe I could help clarifying some issues raised here: the first issue of Beyond is indeed a collection of Scenarios & Speculations coming mostly from young architectural writers, with Bruce Sterling appearing as the guest fiction writer.
White Fungus was actually commissioned for the book.

Finally, I am almost surely coming to Harvard the next 8th of May to present the bookazine and, as I will be passing by New York just before, I will be happy to discuss the collection with anybody who may share the interest in these themes...
