netPublics Site

For the last month, as a visiting scholar in the Networked Publics program at the Annenberg Center for Communication, I have been working with a team of cutting-edge scholars in New Media to create the netPublics web site.

A product of drupal just like varnelis.net, netPublics is my first venture into community blogging. I’ve learned a lot during this time from people like portable media and social software expert Mimi Ito. In recognition of much that I’ve learned, and to more fully join the blogosphere, I’ve added features to this web site such as comments and (in a few minutes) trackbacks.

I will be maintaining a blog at netPublics. While I’ll be re-posting some of the content from netPublics to this site periodically, the netPublics blog is a separate site and I’ll treat it as such. I hope you visit it here often.
